Tata Technologies and Emerson Announce Strategic Global Partnership to Transform Vehicle Testing and Validation

Tata Technologies (NSE: TATATECH), a global product engineering and digital services company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Emerson (NYSE: EMR), a global leader in industrial automation, to co-develop cutting-edge testing and validation solutions for next-generation vehicles.
The collaboration aims to support global OEMs across automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle segments, focusing on accelerating development cycles and reducing complexity for software-defined, electric, connected, and autonomous vehicles.
By combining Tata Technologies’ strength in systems engineering and mobility platform development with Emerson’s advanced test and measurement innovations, the alliance will offer integrated solutions that enable faster, cost-effective, and intelligent validation of complex systems.
Early pilot programs underscore the impact:
- For a European luxury OEM, an EV powertrain test rig was developed in just 5 months, achieving a 67% faster timeline than traditional methods.
- For another premium European brand, an automated validation setup for a head-up display unit executed over 30,000 test scenarios, significantly speeding up product development.
Nachiket Paranjpe, President and Head of Automotive Sales, Tata Technologies, said:
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Emerson to develop intelligent testing and validation solutions for next-gen mobility. This partnership reinforces our mission to engineer a software-defined, connected, and sustainable automotive future.”
Shitendra Bhattacharya, Country Head and Director of Emerson’s Test and Measurement division, added:
“Together, we can deliver end-to-end solutions that help our customers simplify development and stay ahead in a fast-evolving mobility landscape.”
Pilot collaborations are already underway in India, Europe, and North America, with further global rollouts expected.
