L&T Technology Services Posts 16% YoY Revenue Growth in Q1 FY26, Strong Momentum in AI
L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), India’s leading pure-play engineering services company, reported a strong start to FY26 with robust financial and operational performance in the first quarter ending June 30, 2025. The company continues its upward trajectory, driven by its diversified segment strategy, large deal wins, and accelerated investments in AI and sustainability-focused innovations.
For Q1 FY26, LTTS reported revenue of ₹2,866 crore, reflecting a 16.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth, though a 3.9% decline on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis due to seasonal factors in the tech segment. In USD terms, revenue stood at $335.3 million, marking a 13.6% YoY growth. Net profit came in at ₹316 crore, up 0.7% YoY, while EBIT margin stood at 13.3%.
The company continued its streak of major contract wins, recording its third consecutive quarter with over USD 200 million in large deal total contract value (TCV). Q1 included one USD 50 million deal, three deals in the USD 20–30 million range, and six deals exceeding USD 10 million.
In a significant strategic update, LTTS introduced PLxAI, its proprietary AI platform that blends smart prompting, contextual intelligence, and agentic workflows to reduce product development lifecycles for global clients. Originally developed within the Mobility segment, PLxAI has now been scaled across verticals using LTTS’s multi-vertical cross-pollination approach.
AI is increasingly becoming a core driver of LTTS’s future offerings. The company has filed 206 AI-related patents and deployed AI programs across client ecosystems, reinforcing its position as an innovation-first partner.
The Sustainability segment delivered 16% annual growth and crossed the USD 400 million run-rate threshold, joining LTTS’s Tech and Mobility segments as part of its USD 400+ million club. The company’s newly opened Plano, Texas design center, which specializes in AI, cybersecurity, and digital engineering, is expected to drive future growth in the U.S. market.
In terms of recognitions, LTTS was inducted into the John Deere Supplier Hall of Fame for the fifth consecutive year and rated a leader in engineering services by HFS and ISG. CTO Ashish Khushu was named among India’s Top 100 Tech Influencers by MIT Sloan Management Review.
The company also highlighted key multi-million-dollar deals across geographies including strategic partnerships with thyssenkrupp Steering, American LNG producers, and global oil & gas firms. Notably, LTTS won a “Safe City” project in India focused on AI-driven urban safety and surveillance systems.
Despite modest pressure from Q1 seasonality in the Mobility sector, LTTS managed to sustain its profitability through operational efficiency. The company remains optimistic about double-digit growth for FY26 and reaffirmed its medium-term target of achieving $2 billion in revenue.
As of June 2025, LTTS had a global workforce of 23,626 employees, 459 active clients, and a robust pipeline of long-term projects across all three key verticals – Mobility, Sustainability, and Tech.
