WRTL Reports Strong Q1 FY25 Results with 50% YoY Growth in Revenue, Surge in EBITDA and Margins
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 (Q1 FY25), showcasing robust year-on-year growth across all key metrics. The company delivered a stellar performance on the back of a strong order book, higher execution in utility-scale solar projects, and efficient cost management.
For Q1 FY25, WRTL recorded a total income of ₹376.6 crore, representing an impressive 50.2% increase compared to ₹250.7 crore in Q1 FY24. The significant revenue growth was supported by timely execution of turnkey EPC projects, both in India and overseas.
WRTL’s EBITDA surged by 86.6% to ₹79.3 crore in Q1 FY25, as compared to ₹42.5 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA margin also improved sharply to 21.1%, reflecting better operational efficiencies and higher-value project mix.
Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹50.2 crore, registering a 70.2% year-on-year increase from ₹29.5 crore in Q1 FY24. The company also maintained a healthy working capital position and strong liquidity, supported by timely client payments and disciplined cost control.
In terms of operational achievements, WRTL commissioned multiple ground-mounted solar power projects and continued to win large-scale module supply orders, including a 200 MW order from ACCIONA for its Rajasthan project.
Management highlighted that the company remains focused on expanding its EPC footprint, increasing solar capacity installations, and deepening global partnerships. With India’s solar market gaining strong momentum and WRTL’s proven execution track record, the company is well-positioned to capture long-term clean energy growth.
