Aeroflex Industries FY27 Outlook: Strong Export Orders Trigger a 15% Share Price Jump

Aeroflex Industries attracted strong investor attention on October 29, 2026, after management substantially upgraded its full-year growth outlook. Shares of the industrial manufacturing company surged approximately 15% during trading, supported by impressive quarterly earnings and stronger business expectations.

The biggest development was management’s decision to raise its FY27 EBITDA growth guidance to more than 70%, compared with its earlier expectation of approximately 35%. The revision reflected improving demand visibility, strong industrial orders and expanding contributions from higher-value engineering products.

The company also upgraded its full-year revenue growth outlook from approximately 35% to more than 60%. Management now expects FY27 revenue of around ₹715–725 crore, indicating confidence in the company’s order pipeline and production capabilities.

Aeroflex reported consolidated quarterly total income of approximately ₹207.68 crore in Q2 FY27, representing growth of around 87% compared with the corresponding quarter last year. The performance marked an important milestone as quarterly income crossed ₹200 crore.

Profitability improved even faster than revenue. Consolidated net profit reached approximately ₹36.56 crore, compared with ₹14.23 crore a year earlier, representing year-on-year growth of nearly 157%.

Operating performance also strengthened considerably. Quarterly EBITDA reached approximately ₹50.34 crore, increasing around 94% year-on-year, supported by higher sales volumes, operating efficiencies and an improving product mix.

The reported EBITDA margin stood near 24.27%, compared with approximately 23.34% in the corresponding period last year. This improvement suggests that the company is benefiting from stronger operating leverage and an increasing contribution from specialised industrial products.

Sequential performance was equally encouraging. Consolidated total income increased approximately 42% compared with Q1 FY27, while net profit nearly doubled, indicating that business momentum strengthened substantially during the September quarter.

Aeroflex manufactures stainless steel flexible hoses and related engineering products used across industrial applications. Its products serve sectors including energy, chemicals, manufacturing, infrastructure and other industries requiring specialised fluid-transfer solutions.

An increasingly important growth opportunity is the company’s expansion into liquid cooling and skid assembly solutions. These products are relevant to advanced industrial cooling systems and the growing infrastructure requirements of artificial intelligence data centres.

Management indicated that skid assemblies already represent approximately one-quarter of the company’s business mix. Their contribution could exceed 35% over the coming years as production capacity expands and customer demand develops.

This business transition is strategically significant because it broadens Aeroflex’s addressable market beyond conventional flexible hoses. Higher-value engineered assemblies may provide opportunities for larger contracts, deeper customer relationships and improved revenue diversification.

Export demand remains another important growth driver. Management highlighted encouraging opportunities in international markets, particularly as industrial customers seek specialised manufacturing capabilities and dependable engineering suppliers.

However, export-led growth also introduces additional risks. International freight costs, currency movements, geopolitical disruptions and customer concentration can influence profitability and the timing of order execution.

Aeroflex has announced a capital expenditure programme of approximately ₹202 crore to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities. The investment includes capacity expansion in stainless steel hoses and liquid cooling skid assemblies.

The proposed expansion aims to increase stainless steel hose manufacturing capacity from approximately 20 million metres to 30 million metres annually. Skid assembly capacity is expected to double from around 15,000 units to 30,000 units.

Management expects the expansion programme to be completed by March 2028. At peak utilisation, the additional capacity could potentially generate approximately ₹500–550 crore in incremental annual revenue, although actual performance will depend on demand and execution.

The company intends to fund much of this investment through internal accruals and bridge financing. Investors should monitor operating cash flow, working capital requirements and capital expenditure commitments to evaluate the financial sustainability of the expansion.

One important accounting consideration is the company’s change in depreciation methodology from written-down value to straight-line depreciation. This reduced reported depreciation expenses, meaning investors should distinguish underlying operating improvements from accounting-related benefits to net profit.

Management has also indicated an ambitious longer-term revenue aspiration of approximately ₹1,500 crore by FY30, with operating margins around 25%. These projections reflect expectations of expanding manufacturing capacity and a larger contribution from specialised engineering solutions.

Following the sharp share-price rally, valuation becomes particularly important. Investors need to assess whether the company’s earnings growth, execution capabilities and future cash generation justify the market expectations already reflected in its share price.

Aeroflex’s upgraded guidance highlights a potentially important growth phase driven by exports, industrial engineering and data-centre cooling infrastructure. Nevertheless, capacity execution, customer concentration, competitive pricing and cash-flow discipline remain critical factors in determining whether the current momentum can translate into sustainable long-term performance.
