Power Mech Projects Secures ₹579 Crore Order from BHEL for Civil Works at DVC Koderma #powermech

Power Mech Projects Limited has secured a ₹579 crore (excluding GST) contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for civil, structural, and architectural works at the 2×800 MW DVC Koderma Thermal Power Station (KTPS) Phase-II in Jharkhand.

The contract includes a wide range of works, such as leveling and grading of the power block area, structural works for the power house, boiler, electrostatic precipitator (ESP), mill and bunker, turbine generator (TG), and various other critical installations. Additionally, the project scope covers:

• Construction of fan foundations, chimney raft, ID ducts, service buildings, and labor accommodations
• Development of rooftop solar system foundations, sewage water lines, and fire protection systems
• Installation of switchyard works, AC & ventilation ducting, and fencing for isolation between the existing station and the new project

The project is being awarded by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a domestic entity, and will be executed as per the contract terms.
