Bharat Forge Limited has signed the largest-ever domestic defence contract with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the supply of 184 indigenously developed Advanced Towed Artillery Gun Systems (ATAGS). This order represents 60% of the ₹6,900 crore procurement planned by the MoD.

The ATAGS, a 155mm/52-calibre artillery system, has been jointly developed with DRDO and is recognized as one of the most advanced artillery systems in its class.
