HCLTech has entered a landmark 10-year strategic partnership with the Dunedin City Council (DCC) to lead a comprehensive digital transformation of its IT services. The collaboration aims to modernize and manage DCC’s digital infrastructure, enhance service delivery, and boost community engagement through cutting-edge technology.

As part of the deal, HCLTech will revamp the Council’s IT services across key areas including cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, IT asset management, network services, and service management. The transformation will equip Council staff with omnichannel tools, responsive onsite support, and phased self-service systems to improve operational efficiency and streamline public service delivery.

The initiative also includes the use of automation and AI-powered platforms to minimize routine workloads, reduce system downtime, and enable 24/7 virtual support for the Council’s digital infrastructure.
