Kalyan Jewellers Reports 31% Consolidated Revenue Growth in Q1 FY26, Driven by Festive and Wedding Demand
Kalyan Jewellers has reported a robust 31% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue for the first quarter of FY26, despite headwinds from gold price volatility and geopolitical uncertainty. The performance was bolstered by strong festive demand during Akshaya Tritiya and the ongoing wedding season, alongside solid momentum across both domestic and international markets.
The company’s India operations recorded a 31% growth in revenue compared to the same quarter last year. Same-store sales growth stood at approximately 18%, reflecting improved consumer sentiment and strong footfalls across its expanding retail network.
International operations, which contributed around 15% to the company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter, also posted a 31% increase year-on-year. Revenue from the Middle East market alone grew 26%, largely driven by organic growth from existing stores.
The company’s digital-first jewellery brand, Candere, continued its strong growth trajectory, with a 67% jump in revenue compared to the same period last year. A brand campaign launched in the second half of May 2025 appears to have significantly boosted both showroom footfall and web traffic, contributing to Candere’s performance.
During the quarter, Kalyan expanded its footprint by opening 10 new showrooms in India, 1 in the United States, and 8 new Candere outlets domestically. As of June 30, 2025, the total number of operational showrooms across India and international markets stood at 406. This includes 287 Kalyan showrooms in India, 36 in the Middle East, 2 in the US, and 81 Candere showrooms in India.
Looking ahead, the company remains optimistic. The current quarter has begun on a positive note, with preparations underway for new showroom launches, festive collections, and nationwide campaigns targeted at the upcoming festive and wedding seasons.
Kalyan Jewellers has reaffirmed its plans to open 170 new showrooms during FY26—including 75 Kalyan FOCO-format showrooms in non-South Indian markets, 15 Kalyan showrooms in South India and overseas, and 80 Candere outlets across India. The plan includes the rollout of five flagship Kalyan showrooms in large-format retail spaces.
A company spokesperson noted, “Despite challenges in the external environment, we are encouraged by the broad-based growth across regions and formats. Our consistent expansion strategy, customer-centric approach, and strong brand campaigns continue to deliver results.”
The financial metrics shared are subject to a Limited Review by the company’s Statutory Auditors. A more detailed performance update will follow post board approval of the quarterly results for the period ending June 30, 2025.
