Renewable energy sector में तेजी से बढ़ते कदमों के बीच KPI Green Energy Limited, जो KP Group का हिस्सा है, को Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) से Category A Power Trading Licence की मंजूरी मिल गई है। यह मंजूरी कंपनी के लिए एक बड़ा माइलस्टोन है क्योंकि अब KPI Green Energy सीधे बिजली की ट्रेडिंग कर सकेगी, जिससे उसकी renewable power generation का बेहतर उपयोग और उच्च realization संभव होगा।

कंपनी के पास पहले से ही 6+ GW का renewable energy portfolio है, जिसमें wind और solar projects शामिल हैं। अब इस licence के साथ KPI Green Energy power exchanges और short-term bilateral markets में भाग लेकर अपनी electricity को उस समय और जगह बेच सकेगी, जहाँ demand अधिक हो।

कंपनी के Chairman और Managing Director, Dr. Faruk G. Patel ने कहा:

“यह licence KPI Green Energy के लिए एक strategic milestone है। अब हम electricity वहीं बेच सकेंगे जहाँ उसकी सबसे ज़्यादा ज़रूरत है — इससे न केवल revenue बढ़ेगा, बल्कि भारत के clean energy transition को भी गति मिलेगी।”

इस licence से KPI Green Energy को कई नए अवसर मिलेंगे — जैसे कि direct power exchange trading, flexible energy procurement for industries, transparent pricing, और open-access consumers के लिए तेज़ onboarding। इससे न केवल कंपनी को financial लाभ मिलेगा बल्कि गुजरात और भारत के green energy ecosystem को भी मजबूती मिलेगी।

KPI Group ने पिछले तीन दशकों में wind और solar energy में कई transformative projects पूरे किए हैं और clean, sustainable energy solutions में अपनी leadership को लगातार मजबूत किया है। यह approval KPI Green Energy के renewable power monetisation journey का एक और बड़ा अध्याय जोड़ता है। ⚡
