Puravankara Group has announced a major joint development agreement (JDA) for a 5.5-acre land parcel in Balagere, East Bengaluru, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of over ₹1,000 crore. This move marks another milestone in the company’s strategic expansion across Bengaluru’s high-potential micro-markets.

The land parcel offers a total saleable area of 0.83 million square feet and benefits from Balagere’s excellent connectivity, proximity to IT hubs, and robust infrastructure. The project, expected to be launched within 6 to 9 months, will cater to the ultra-luxury residential segment.

Ashish Puravankara, Managing Director of Puravankara Limited, said the development reaffirms the company’s confidence in East Bengaluru’s potential. Mallanna Sasalu, CEO – South, noted that the JDA model aligns with their capital-efficient strategy while minimizing market risk and enabling faster execution.

This announcement follows Puravankara’s recent acquisition of a 3.63-acre plot on Kanakapura Road with a GDV of over ₹700 crore and a JV for a 24.59-acre parcel in North Bengaluru with a GDV of ₹3,300 crore. The latest move strengthens Puravankara’s growing presence across all key Bengaluru growth corridors.
