Ramkrishna Forgings Limited has commenced commercial production of NATIONAL 5” UPSETTER and DEFRIS 2%” UPSETTER at its Ramkrishna Forgings facility in Dugni, Jharkhand, effective March 27, 2025. This expansion increases the company’s total production capacity by 14,250 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA), further strengthening its position in the forging industry.

Updated Production Capacity:

• Hot & Warm Forgings: 2,43,400 MT (Previously 2,29,150 MT)
• Cold Forgings: 25,000 MT (No change)

Key Details of the Capacity Expansion:

• Investment Required: ₹40.85 Crore
• Mode of Financing: Mix of equity and debt
• Capacity Utilization (as of Dec 31, 2024): 87.22%
• Purpose: To meet the rising demand from customers in the automotive and industrial sectors
