Netweb Technologies Q2 FY27 Results: Profit Jumps 335% as AI Revenue Surges 1,068%

Netweb Technologies India Limited has delivered an extraordinary second quarter for FY27, reporting more than fourfold growth in revenue and profit as demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure accelerates.

The most striking development is that Netweb’s profit for the first six months of FY27 has already exceeded the company’s entire FY26 profit.

For a business operating in India’s rapidly expanding high-performance computing market, the results highlight the scale of demand for AI systems, private cloud infrastructure and advanced computing solutions.

According to the financial results approved by the board on October 24, 2026, Netweb reported revenue from operations of ₹1,323.3 crore for Q2 FY27, compared with ₹303.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

This represents year-on-year revenue growth of 335.7%, meaning quarterly revenue increased to approximately 4.36 times its year-earlier level. Net profit increased 334.8% year-on-year to ₹136.7 crore, compared with ₹31.4 crore in Q2 FY26.

The company also reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit after tax. Operating EBITDA reached ₹197.3 crore, increasing 334% from ₹45.5 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Despite the rapid expansion in business volumes, the operating EBITDA margin remained broadly stable at 14.9%, compared with approximately 15% a year earlier.

The ability to maintain operating margins while revenue increased more than fourfold is an important feature of the results.

However, operating EBITDA growth of 334% was marginally slower than revenue growth, indicating that margins did not expand meaningfully on a year-on-year basis. On a sequential basis, the company’s performance was also strong.

Revenue increased 61.4% from ₹819.7 crore in Q1 FY27, while profit after tax rose 60.2% from ₹85.3 crore. Operating EBITDA increased 63.7% quarter-on-quarter from ₹120.5 crore.

The sequential acceleration suggests that the company’s growth was not limited to a favourable comparison with the previous year. The biggest driver of the quarter was Netweb’s AI Systems business.

Revenue from AI Systems reached ₹773.1 crore in Q2 FY27, representing approximately 58.4% of quarterly revenue from operations.

The segment recorded extraordinary year-on-year growth of 1,068.1%, reflecting rapidly expanding demand for AI-focused computing infrastructure.

This performance is particularly important because it demonstrates how quickly AI-related products have become central to Netweb’s business.

During the first half of FY27, AI Systems generated revenue of ₹1,283.6 crore, an increase of 735.8% compared with H1 FY26. The segment contributed approximately 59.9% of total operating revenue during the six-month period.

This represents a significant shift in the company’s revenue composition toward AI infrastructure. Netweb’s High-Performance Computing business also remained important, generating quarterly revenue of ₹248.2 crore.

Private Cloud contributed another ₹244.8 crore, demonstrating that the company continues to operate across multiple high-end computing categories. However, AI Systems has clearly emerged as the dominant growth engine.

Another major highlight is the company’s half-year financial performance. Revenue from operations reached ₹2,143 crore in H1 FY27, compared with ₹604.9 crore in H1 FY26. This represents year-on-year growth of 254.2%.

Operating EBITDA increased to ₹323 crore from ₹90.3 crore, while profit after tax climbed to ₹222 crore from ₹61.9 crore. The most remarkable comparison is with the previous full financial year.

Netweb generated ₹205.8 crore in profit after tax during the entire FY26 period. Its H1 FY27 profit of ₹222 crore has already exceeded that full-year figure by ₹16.2 crore, or approximately 7.9%.

This milestone demonstrates the scale of the company’s recent earnings expansion. However, investors should avoid automatically annualising first-half profits because quarterly revenue recognition, order execution and business mix can vary significantly.

The company’s order book provides another important indicator of future business activity. As of September 30, 2026, Netweb reported an outstanding order book of ₹2,629 crore. Management also disclosed an additional L1 position worth ₹652.5 crore.

An L1 position generally indicates that a company has emerged as the lowest bidder in a tender process, but it should not be treated as a confirmed order until the necessary award formalities are completed.

Netweb also reported an active business pipeline worth approximately ₹11,151.8 crore. While this pipeline indicates the scale of potential opportunities, it does not represent contracted revenue.

The distinction between confirmed orders, L1 positions and prospective business opportunities is important when assessing future earnings visibility. Another major development during the quarter was the company’s successful capital raise of ₹1,200 crore.

Management described it as Netweb’s first capital raise since its stock market listing in July 2023. The additional capital strengthens the company’s financial resources as it pursues expansion in AI computing infrastructure.

As of September 30, 2026, Netweb reported negative net debt of ₹13.6 crore, indicating a modest net cash position under the company’s reported definition.

However, investors should evaluate the balance sheet alongside the proceeds of the capital raise, working-capital requirements and future investment commitments.

Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Lodha highlighted the increasing importance of domestic computing infrastructure as artificial intelligence adoption expands.

According to management, government organisations, enterprises and cloud service providers are increasingly prioritising high-performance systems capable of supporting critical workloads. The demand for sovereign computing infrastructure is another important theme.

Sovereign computing generally refers to infrastructure designed to support greater control over sensitive data, computing capabilities and related technology systems within a country’s jurisdiction.

For India, this trend may create opportunities for domestic manufacturers and technology solution providers. Netweb’s business model includes system design, engineering, manufacturing and deployment of high-end computing solutions.

Management also emphasised its chip-agnostic design philosophy, which aims to provide flexibility across computing architectures and technology platforms.

However, chip-agnostic design does not eliminate dependence on global semiconductor supply chains. Advanced GPUs, processors, memory and networking components remain important inputs for AI infrastructure systems.

Availability, procurement costs and changes in global technology supply conditions can therefore influence project delivery and profitability.

The company’s exposure to large AI infrastructure orders also creates potential volatility in quarterly revenue. Large contracts may generate substantial revenue during particular execution periods, making sequential comparisons less predictable.

Another factor worth monitoring is customer concentration. If a significant portion of revenue comes from a limited number of large customers or projects, changes in procurement schedules can materially influence financial performance.

The provided results do not disclose sufficient customer-level information to quantify this risk. Competition is another consideration.

Netweb operates in a market that includes global technology manufacturers, infrastructure integrators and other companies seeking opportunities in AI computing.

Demand growth can attract new competitors and influence pricing, particularly as products and infrastructure configurations evolve. For investors, the distinction between strong business growth and attractive stock valuation remains essential.

A company reporting extraordinary earnings growth can still face share-price volatility if market expectations already anticipate substantial future expansion.

The latest results provide evidence of strong operating momentum, but they do not establish whether the current stock valuation is inexpensive or expensive.

That assessment requires the prevailing share price, market capitalisation, diluted share count and realistic future earnings assumptions. The capital raise also makes changes in the share count relevant when comparing earnings per share over time.

Netweb reported diluted earnings per share of ₹23.54 for Q2 FY27, compared with ₹5.55 in Q2 FY26. For H1 FY27, diluted earnings per share reached ₹38.60, exceeding the ₹36.30 reported for the entire FY26 period.

Looking ahead, investors should monitor the conversion of the ₹2,629 crore order book into revenue, the profitability of AI Systems projects and the company’s ability to maintain operating margins.

Cash generation, working-capital efficiency and the deployment of recently raised capital will also be important. The reported ₹11,151.8 crore active pipeline indicates significant potential demand, but its conversion into confirmed orders will be a key test of management’s growth expectations.

Netweb’s Q2 FY27 results establish a major earnings milestone, with revenue and profit growing more than fourfold and AI Systems becoming the dominant contributor.

The company has already surpassed its previous full-year profit in just six months, supported by strong demand for advanced computing infrastructure.

The next question is whether Netweb can convert this exceptional growth phase into sustainable earnings, reliable cash flows and long-term shareholder value as India’s AI infrastructure market develops.
